For the cars that run, the ones that don’t, and the ones becoming something more.

Welcome to MotorShed

As enthusiasts, we don't just drive cars. We maintain, modify, and study them. We save listings, track parts, and plan future builds before they begin. We obsess over details, learn from others, and think through every decision. Notes in your phone. Photos in your camera roll. Tabs full of listings. Parts saved who knows where. Car life has always been scattered. There has never been a clean system to hold it all together. So we're building one: MotorShed. MotorShed is a private, structured workspace made for car people. A place to track what you own, new or old, keep your hunt organized and document everything in between. Whether you're logging parts, uploading receipts, or building a wishlist, it's all organized in one place on your terms. You can keep your sheds private or invite friends to view them, share a build, swap feedback, or collaborate on future plans. Structure is just the start. Layered into every shed is a growing intelligence. AI that helps you catch red flags in car listings, find the right parts for your ride, troubleshoot issues, and make sense of your history. AI is not here to replace your instincts; rather, it is here to help keep your cars on the road, no matter their condition. AI helps cut through the noise, reveals what matters, and allows you to focus on what counts: Driving, tinkering, and making progress. MotorShed is not about changing how car people work. It's about supporting what we already do. Whether you're keeping a project going, slowly bringing something back to the road, or just saving inspiration for what's next, it belongs in MotorShed. Owners. Builders. Shoppers. Dreamers. Welcome to MotorShed. Join the ride. Sign up for early access.

Why I’m Building MotorShed

As my car hobby evolved, I became frustrated with not having a central place to keep track of everything. Listings I liked were buried in bookmarks. Parts and receipts were scattered across screenshots, browser tabs, and even a physical folder in the garage. I didn't have a clear record of what had been done to my cars, and sometimes, I'd forget what I'd fixed years ago or which smaller projects I meant to pursue but never got around to. When it came time to sell, there was no easy way to pass that story on to the next owner. I also got tired of texting listings or parts to friends and then trying to dig them up later. The same applies to build photos or inspiration I wanted feedback on. I wanted a place where I could save and organize it all and find it again when I needed to. More than that, I wanted something smarter. A way to find the best deal on a part without chasing links across marketplaces. A way to learn what to look for when shopping for a vintage Corvair or get trusted tips for replacing a water pump. I wanted help answering basic but essential questions, such as what oil filter fits my 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix. I wanted to be pointed to a great video or a forum post from someone who really understands the nuance of Chevy straight-sixes. I didn't just want more search results. I wanted a companion that understood what I was working on and helped me move forward. MotorShed also helps me think through my future builds. Most of my cars have both a short-term plan and a long-term vision. I dream about upgrades that I want to make and save parts that I will eventually buy. There are even cars I don't own, but I track them to see how the market moves. One day, I might go for it. MotorShed is that tool—a structured space to track, share, and make smarter decisions. It makes the hard stuff easier so I can focus on the fun.

One Last Note

MotorShed is still early, but we are building it carefully for enthusiasts who care about wrenching, researching, or planning their next move. Whether they are keeping their car humming or getting it closer to the road again.
